BOA MADRE EXTRAIT DE PARFUM

Tribute to René Gruau, pseudonym of Renato Zavagli Ricciardelli delle Caminate, a famous Italian illustrator. Gruau takes part in the revolution that began in 1947 with the New Look – the lines of female codes are rewritten.  He joins those who are now his friends, Dior, Givenchy, Balmain, for them he creates shapes, realizes advertisements, they are women covered in ostrich feathers.

The lines of the BOA MADRE bottle are women’s hips, they are ostrich eggs.

The egg is the representation of the primordial seed from which it all began, its iconographic use is in all cultures. “I have added to the flora of the Paradise Muse of fauna;” boa is snake, or has ostrich feathers, while Mother Earth is the origin of life.
